strung out was inspired by living on ithaca and the people i react to, interact and get distracted with. we live in a bubble where everything is tinged with a little paranoia and jealousy, and overreaction is normal. in reality, real life is only a ferry ride away, but it's so distant in our minds that we all get sucked into the fishbowl, clammering over eachother like rats in the sewer for our positions in life and love.
